Campaign field & volunteer coordination
Recruiting, scheduling, and supporting volunteers; organizing canvasses and phone banks; tracking shifts and follow-up so no supporter falls through the cracks.
Civic & political consulting
I offer candidates, committees, community groups, and nonprofits across Nassau County, Long Island, and New York State practical support for local campaigns and local issues: field coordination, outreach, events, research, communications, and careful record-keeping.
Services
Local campaigns and causes run on volunteers, deadlines, and details. I handle the organizing so you can focus on the people you serve.
Recruiting, scheduling, and supporting volunteers; organizing canvasses and phone banks; tracking shifts and follow-up so no supporter falls through the cracks.
Phone, email, and door-to-door outreach that treats every conversation as a relationship. I build rapport quickly and keep careful notes so follow-up actually happens.
Planning and running town halls, meet-and-greets, and virtual events, from logistics and invitations to day-of coordination. At Hofstra, I helped plan virtual events that set attendance records.
Clear, sourced briefs on local issues that a candidate or board can read in ten minutes and speak to with confidence. I research the question; the position stays yours.
Newsletters, emails, social posts, and public statements written in plain English. At The Hofstra Chronicle I turned official safety briefings into clear updates for an entire campus.
Deadline calendars, volunteer records, contact logs, and confidential data handled with the same discipline I brought to legal case files and public health records.
Why Lillian
I learned organizing the practical way. At Hofstra I advocated for a student body of 11,000 as an Associate Senator in Student Government, co-authored resolutions, and presented concerns about campus safety, dining, and housing directly to senior university administrators, the president, vice president, and senators. I helped plan virtual events that drew record attendance, and I reported campus safety news for the student paper.
Beyond campus I worked in public safety and compliance, served as a COVID-19 contact tracer for the New York State Department of Health, and handled confidential legal records as a paralegal. Those roles taught me to document carefully, escalate quickly, and stay calm when the stakes are high. Local campaigns need exactly that.
My consulting work is nonpartisan. I do not bring an agenda to your campaign or cause; I bring structure, clear communication, and local roots in Nassau County and on Long Island. The skills are the ones described above, applied to your goals: careful preparation, steady outreach, and records you can rely on.
Local issues
I do not take positions for clients. These are areas where my experience gives me a head start on the research, organizing, and communication.
Contact tracing for the New York State Department of Health and a year of coaching hundreds of people a month gave me first-hand practice explaining health information clearly and handling it confidentially.
Public safety and compliance work, plus campus safety reporting from 2017 to 2019, means I can turn briefings, procedures, and incident data into language a community understands.
From Student Government to admissions to the campus paper, I have spent years listening to students and carrying their concerns to the people who decide.
Dining, housing, traffic, and front-line customer service: I have handled the everyday quality-of-life concerns that fill a local inbox, and I know how to track each one to resolution.
How an engagement works
Every engagement starts with a conversation and ends with a report. In between, you always know what I am working on.
We talk about your campaign or cause, what is working, where you are stretched thin, and what a win looks like for you this season.
I propose a written scope with specific deliverables, a timeline, and a budget. Nothing starts until you have agreed to it in writing.
I do the work, coordinate volunteers and partners, and keep records as I go. You get regular updates in whatever format fits your team.
At the end, you receive a clear summary of what was done, what the numbers show, and what I recommend next, with all records handed over.
Open to public service
I am actively interested in roles with county, state, and municipal agencies, especially where the work involves residents directly. My experience spans one-on-one health coaching, confidential case documentation for the New York State Department of Health, legal records, and public safety operations, and I am comfortable in both high-volume and high-sensitivity settings.
What I offer a public team is reliability. I follow standard operating procedures, document thoroughly, escalate when something needs a decision above my level, and communicate clearly with the public by phone, email, and secure messaging. My résumé is available to download, and I am glad to talk about any opening.
Tell me about your campaign, your cause, or the role you are hiring for. I reply to every message, and I am happy to start with a short, no-obligation conversation.
