My story

From campus senator to coach

I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Hofstra University in Hempstead, and much of my time there went to serving other students. As a volunteer Admissions Counselor Assistant, I supported a caseload of more than 1,000 prospective and accepted students, answering questions by phone and email and helping cohorts of up to 500 settle in. At the same time, I reported on crime and campus safety for The Hofstra Chronicle, turning official briefings into clear, accurate updates for the whole student body.

From September 2020 to May 2021 I served as an Associate Senator in Student Government, advocating for a student body of 11,000 peers. I presented concerns about campus safety, dining, and housing directly to senior university administrators, the president, vice president, and senators, sponsored and co-authored resolutions, and kept students informed by email and social media. I also worked with board members to plan virtual events that drew record attendance. That is where I learned that advocacy is mostly preparation and clear communication.

From October 2019 to January 2021 I also worked in public safety and compliance with Learning For Life, directing high-volume public safety traffic and operational workflows for thousands of residents under strict safety guidelines and de-escalating sensitive situations. In early 2022 I joined PCG and the New York State Department of Health as a COVID-19 Contact Tracer, conducting structured interviews, protecting confidential information, and getting escalation reports and tracking summaries to the right teams on time.

Later that year I worked as an Intellectual Property Paralegal at Sanders Law Group in Garden City, managing client documentation, contracts, and secure case files under strict confidentiality protocols. After a stretch in customer support and operations at CVS in Oceanside, I joined Noom as a Senior Health, Nutrition & Wellness Coach, supporting a caseload of 393+ clients a month across messaging, email, and phone while keeping a 95% response rate.

Today I bring those threads together from my home base in Nassau County: coaching individuals toward goals they set for themselves, offering local campaigns and community groups help with organizing and communications, and staying open to public service roles where confidentiality and documentation matter. The settings change. What people get from me does not: a careful listener, a steady planner, and someone who follows through.

What I value

How I work

Four commitments that hold whether I am coaching one person, planning an event, or managing a confidential file.

Follow-through

If I say I will call, I call. Hundreds of clients a month kept hearing back from me because replying was a habit, not an afterthought.

Confidentiality

From confidential health information to legal case files, I treat people’s information as a trust. I follow privacy and record-keeping protocols every time, not only when someone is checking.

Plain language

Whether it is an official safety briefing or a nutrition routine, I translate complicated things into clear next steps that people can actually act on.

Local roots

I am based in Nassau County. Long Island is not a market to me; it is home, and I want the communities here to be healthier and better served.
